I am so happy to share this families session. On a surprisingly cool evening May, we headed out to old golf courses at City Park. I had to laugh when the mom said she loved how I made a field of weeds look so beautiful
But they were fantastic and so easy to take pictures of, and how much they love their little girl, is evident in every picture.
I wanted to get this post up on Mother’s Day. But I decided to spend the day with my family. So it is a bit belated, and I apologize, but I very much enjoyed the day with my girls. In honor of Mother’s Day and all the amazing moms out there, here are a few of my favorite Mom’s from the past year. I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day!
Oh how I love photographing these two. Every time they make smile. How could not, look at those cute grins and beautiful eyes. They are always so much fun and so full of energy, and being twins they can at times be a little rambunctious. But that is ok, I love for them to let that engery loose, and give them a chance to run and play.

It is hard to believe these were taken in early March. The weather was over cast and cold, and here we are a few weeks and Spring has arrived. but this brother and sister braved the cold weather for a few quick pictures together. The little boy, Rendon, had just lost his two front teeth and was happy to show off his toothless grin. And even thought this was suppose to be all about the kids, we even got dad to get in a few at the end.
This was all shot on film with my Canon 35mm, and Portra 400. And are part of the monthly “Playing with Film” blog circle. So be sure to follow around the circle and see what Joanne Bach shot this month.
